Acclamation! Choir

TUAC presents favorite Hymns of the Faith as ACCLAMATION CHOIR takes the stage of the R. E. LEE auditorium October 21 and 24.

“HE KEEPS ME SINGING!" will present duplicate programs on Thursday at 7:00pm and Sunday at 2:00pm.

You'll thrill at the memories these hymns will evoke. The blend of 30 voices from many of our area churches will lift your spirits and warm your soul as they and several instrumental soloists present songs from gospel, traditional spirituals, melodic anthems from the great choral repertoire and the hymns you grew up singing.

The program will feature special arrangements specifically created for this choir. Selections will include such beloved hymns as the title piece, The Church in the Wildwood, I Shall Not Be Moved, Holy, Holy, Holy, Is He Worthy. Amazing Grace, Joshua Fit the Battle of Jericho, The Majesty and Glory of HIs Name, Thou Art Worthy, and more.

The chorus is directed by TUAC's chairman of choral presentations, Joan Thomas and is accompanied by Jennifer Durham and George Ruff. Everyone is encouraged to sing along in their hearts as we prayerfully travel down the historic road of soul-winning hymns.

Tickets are available at the TUAC office on the square and at the door. Prices are $10 for adults and $5 for children. For more information, please call 706-647-1605.
