Thomaston-Upson Arts Council

The Thomaston Upson Arts Council awarded the second annual Dr. Keith B. Huckaby Scholarship Grant to Rachel Jordan. The scholarship, which totals $1,000 is awarded based on applicants’ prior work in the fine arts, as well as other extracurricular activities.

Applicants were also required to write an essay on how the arts have enriched their lives.

Following her upcoming graduation from Upson-Lee High School, Jordan plans to continue her education at Gordon State College.
